Kramer Levin received the award for “Restructuring Deal of the Year (Over $1 B)” at the 10th annual M&A Advisor Turnaround Awards for the firm’s representation of the official committee of unsecured creditors in the restructuring of Nextel International Holdings (NIHD). The Kramer Levin team was led by Kenneth H. Eckstein and included, among others, Adam C. Rogoff  and Robert T. Schmidt, and associates Anupama Yerramalli and Rachael Ringer.

The M&A Advisor Turnaround Awards recognizes excellence among the leading distressed investing, restructuring and turnaround deal-making professionals. Nominations, representing over 200 participating companies, are judged by an independent jury of industry experts. The awards were presented at the M&A Advisor Turnaround Awards Gala on January 28, 2016, in Palm Beach, Florida.
