On December 6, 2011 Corporate partner Christopher S. Auguste was honored for Outstanding Civic Leadership at Brooklyn Law School's Robert B. Catell Awards Dinner for Civic Leadership at The Pierre in New York.  Mr. Auguste was recognized for his work in the non-profit sector. He serves on the boards of Goddard Riverside Community Center, YouthBridge NY and Wadleigh Scholars Program. In particular, the Wadleigh Scholars Program is a Harlem-based enrichment program that finds talented New York City minority students in the 8th grade and assists the students in gaining admission to prestigious boarding schools. Mr. Auguste, an alumnus of the Program, has been mentoring WSP scholars each year since 1985 and mentors two students each year. Each Saturday in the fall, Mr. Auguste returns to his Harlem secondary school to work with his mentees. He continues to mentor and serve as a role model to the scholars throughout their boarding school and college careers.
