Corporate Restructuring and Bankruptcy Alert: New Bankruptcy Rule 2019: Brighter Light, Darker Shadows
A searchlight illuminates those it catches; it hides in darker shadows those who escape. The same is true for new Bankruptcy Rule 2019, which as of December 1, 2011, will apply to pending as well as future Chapter 11 cases. New Rule 2019 will now require parties who "act in concert" to disclose their position. Please see the attached alert for further information.
