Corporate Restructuring and Bankruptcy partner Kenneth H. Eckstein was once again named to Turnarounds & Workouts Magazine’s list of “Outstanding Restructuring Lawyers” for 2013. The list is composed of 12 of the leading restructuring lawyers in the nation.

Mr. Eckstein was cited for his work as lead counsel to the official creditors’ committee in the Residential Capital bankruptcy proceedings, in which he spearheaded a program that resulted in a $2.1 billion contribution from ResCap’s parent company, Ally Financial, Inc., and a global settlement agreed to among the wide range of creditors involved in one of the most complex bankruptcies in history. Also noted was Mr. Eckstein’s representation of JPMorgan Chase in the Dewey & LeBoeuf bankruptcy.
