On May 24, 2011, our client, Craig Brubaker, a former Deutsche Bank banker, was acquitted on all nine criminal charges in one of the most significant tax shelter fraud prosecutions brought by the US Attorney in Manhattan.  Mr. Brubaker was on trial for ten weeks with four other defendants -- two attorneys from Jenkens & Gilchrist, the former CEO of BDO Seidman, and another Deutsche Bank banker.  He was the only defendant to be found not guilty on all charges.  The Kramer Levin trial team that represented Mr. Brubaker was led by Litigation partners Barry H. Berke and Paul H. Schoeman.  They were supported by Litigation partner Dani R. James, and associates Kimberley J. Ravener, Kristin DiFrancesco, Carl D. Duffield, Philip Ellenbogen, Rachel Feinberg, Nicole Foley, Samantha Ford, Megan Holcomb, Katherine King and Erin Walter.
