International Law Review: Deal: Arden Fund Creates NewAlternative Investment Model

Financial Services partner George M. Silfen was quoted as the advisor on the launch of Arden Alternative Strategies Fund in the International Financial Law Review's article "DEAL: Arden Fund Creates New Alternative Investment Model," in the March 2013 issue. The Arden fund is a hybrid that launched in November of 2012 with $700 million in commitments. The fund can hire sub-advisors with diverse product offering without a shareholder vote, which required an Securities & Exchange Commission exemption. "There are multiple managers strategies in different ways, or different strategies to give investors a cross-section of programmes with great diversification," said Silfen.
