Kramer Levin Advises La Française in Relation With Its Strategic Partnership with Forum Partners

Forum Partners Investment Management, LLC (“Forum”) and La Française, an affiliate of Crédit Mutuel Nord Europe (“CMNE”), announced on 11 September 2013 that, subject to regulatory approval, they have entered into a strategic partnership encompassing the acquisition by La Française of a 24.9% interest in Forum through an issuance of new shares. With a view to strengthening this partnership, CMNE and La Française will invest over $600 million into Forum’s global suite of real estate investment strategies. In addition, close collaboration will be extended to a series of new European investment products, including a joint venture to develop European direct real estate products.

With assets under management of $50 billion of which $9 billion is in real estate, the La Française group contributes its specific expertise in managing both financial and real estate assets as well as global
investment solutions.
