Kramer Levin advised the Terra Foundation for American Art in relation with its sale of certain properties to the Musée des Impressionnismes, a public cultural partnership among the districts of Eure and Seine-Maritime, the Normandy region, the cities of Portes de l’Eure and Vernon, the Musee d’Orsay and the Terra Foundation, among others.

The properties sold, with a value estimated at €9.8 million, include the museum grounds as well as all adjacent premises, staff members and visitors car parks, surrounding gardens, the Vissault and Bertin estates as well as the so-called “La Côte” hill.

As an ongoing partner and principal private contributor of the Museum, the Terra Foundation set the sale price at €5 million, resulting in a €4.8 million donation by the Terra Foundation to the Museum. Corporate partner Dana Anagnostou advised the Terra Foundation in this transaction.
