On December 20, 2010, the City Council unanimously approved Kramer Levin client Extell Development Company’s proposed 3.1- million-square-foot mixed use project known as Riverside Center on the Upper West Side.

The project, which will span West 59th Street to West 61st Street between West End Avenue and the West Side Highway, will consist of 2,500 apartment units in five high-rise towers, retail space and a school.

Land Use co-chair Paul D. Selver served as counsel to Extell and co-counsel to the partnership developing the site. He was assisted by special counsel Valerie G. Campbell, associate Patrick Sullivan and planning and development specialist  Marcie Kesner. Environmental chair Charles S. Warren provided environental advice, assisted by special counsel Karen Leo Mintzer.
