Kramer Levin Client MWW Group Completes Buyout of Public Relations Business from Interpublic Group
Kramer Levin client MWW Group LLC completed the buyout of a public relations business from Interpublic Group on December 31, 2010. Kramer Levin also handled the simultaneous private placement and credit facility. The purchase price was funded through a private placement and through bank financing.
The Kramer Levin deal team for the acquisition consisted of Corporate partners Steven M. Goldman and James A. Grayer, associates Carol Archer and Carly Vella, Employee Benefits special counsel Avram J. Cahn and Real Estate associate Pamela Swidler. The private placement was handled by Mr. Goldman and Corporate associates Adam S. Karasik and Carly Vella. The credit line was handled by Banking and Finance partner David J. Fisher and associate Marissa Leung.
