Kramer Levin Client Rising Pharmaceuticals Bought by Aceto Corporation
Kramer Levin client Rising Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a privately owned pharmaceutical distributor was bought by Aceto Corporation, a publicly traded chemical company on December 31, 2010. The consideration was approximately $80 million dollars composed of cash, stock in the public company and a contingent payment.
The Kramer Levin deal team consisted of Corporate partners Steven M. Goldman and James A. Grayer, and associates Adam Busch, Jay Robert and Sarah Kaehler. The other members of the team were Environmental partner Charles S. Warren and special counsel Toni L. Finger, Employee Benefits special counsel Avram J. Cahn and Real Estate special counsel Tzvi Rokeach.
