On August 3, Kramer Levin client Systemax Inc., a US-based seller of computers, computer supplies, consumer electronics and industrial products through branded e-commerce websites, retail stores, relationship marketers and direct mail catalogs, entered into a definitive agreement to acquire WStore Europe, SA, a France-based supplier of business IT products with operations in France and the UK for an undisclosed sum. WStore operates as Inmac WStore SAS and I-Com Software in France, and in the UK as WStore UK Limited. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2009.
