On June 10, 2009, Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP was honored by The Empire State Pride Agenda, New York’s statewide LGBT civil rights and advocacy organization. In a ceremony at Time Warner Center, the firm was presented with the "Equality @Work" Award, which is given to a company that has worked to create an inclusive work environment that respects, welcomes and supports LGBT professionals and empowers them to realize their potential. Kramer Levin was described by the Pride Agenda as having been “ in the forefront in representing LGBT people through historic pro-bono litigation as well as fostering an inclusive workplace environment.”

This honor follows on several other accolades that the firm recently received in recognition of its commitment to diversity. For the second consecutive year, Kramer Levin was granted a perfect 100 score by the Human Rights Campaign and was named a “Best Place to Work” for LGBT equality. Last year, the firm was named one of the top 20 law firms in the nation for diversity in terms of its LGBT ranking by Vault 2008, a survey of law firm associates.
