Corporate Restructuring and Bankruptcy partner Amy Caton was selected by Turnarounds & Workouts as a 2008 Outstanding Young Restructuring Lawyer. She will be honored for this achievement in November at the Turnarounds & Workouts annual Distressed Investing Conference held in New York City.

Amy Caton, one of only 12 young lawyers in the country chosen for the award, was recognized for her roles representing HSBC and UMB Bank in United Airlines, Citigroup and Bank of New York in Northwest Airlines, the Choctaw/Zephyrus group in the Enron bankruptcy, the Frontier Noteholder Committee in Adelphia, and Malden Mills as a Chapter 11 debtor.

Ms. Caton is a partner in Kramer Levin’s Corporate Restructuring and Bankruptcy Group. Her practice covers the broad spectrum of corporate, litigation and core bankruptcy matters in representing distressed investors, creditor, debtor and distressed merger and acquisition clients in restructurings and bankruptcies.
