Kramer Levin attorneys successfully obtained an IRS determination of Section 501(c)(3) tax exempt status for Sam & Devorah Foundation for Trans Youth, Inc., an organization focusing on fundraising for and otherwise supporting causes that help transgender and gender non-conforming young adults. Kramer Levin has represented Sam & Devorah since its inception and continues to serve as its pro bono counsel, advising the organization on a variety of corporate governance and tax matters as it pursues its ultimate goal of establishing a safe house for transgender and gender non-conforming young adults.
