Kramer Levin Partner Thomas Moers Mayer Appointed to the Judicial Conference Advisory Committee on Bankruptcy Rules

Thomas Moers Mayer, partner and co-chair of the firm's Corporate Restructuring and Bankruptcy Department, has been appointed to the United States Judicial Conference Advisory Committee on Bankruptcy Rules by Chief Justice John Roberts.

The Judicial Conference Advisory Committee on Bankruptcy Rules conducts basic studies and proposes recommendations of Federal rules. The proposals are sent through the standing Committee on Rules of Practice and proceeds to the Judicial Conference of the United States, ultimately reaching the Supreme Court for approval.
