Kramer Levin represented The NPD Group, Inc. in its acquisition of Nielsen Entertainment’s VideoScan Product. VideoScan tracks the sale of DVD and Blu-ray discs and VHS tapes in the United States and Canada. The transaction closed December 30. Corporate counsel Richard H. Gilden led the Kramer Levin team, which included Corporate partner James J. Moriarty and associate Julia Papastavridis and Employment Law partner Robert N. Holtzman.
