Kramer Levin Represents The NPD Group, Inc. in Sale of DisplaySearch and Solarbuzz Businesses to IHS, Inc.
Kramer Levin represented long-time client The NPD Group, Inc., a top 10 U.S. market research firm, in the sale of its DisplaySearch and Solarbuzz businesses to IHS, Inc., a NYSE listed global research firm. Terms of the deal, which is expected to close in November 2014, were not disclosed. DisplaySearch and Solarbuzz are global research firms tracking shipments in the display technology and solar industries, respectively. The Kramer Levin team advising The NPD Group, Inc. was composed of Corporate partner Richard H. Gilden, Corporate associates Carol Archer and Julia Papastavridis, Employment Law partner Robert N.
