Kramer Levin has been selected to receive Legal Services NYC’s Pro Bono Leadership Award as one of their top 10 pro bono partners in the past year. The award recognizes Kramer Levin’s continuous support, since 1998, of LSNYC’s housing unit, through a full time externship in Brooklyn staffed by firm attorneys, as well as its student debt initiative, through which the firm’s lawyers have helped veterans secure debt relief. The award will be presented at Legal Services NYC’s annual Jazz for Justice Benefit on March 29, 2017. Kramer Levin’s partnership has helped enable LSNYC to leverage their resources and secure the essentials of life for their clients—food, shelter, safety, healthcare and education.
