Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP is pleased to announce that litigation partner Paul H. Schoeman has been inducted as a Fellow into the American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL).

The ACTL extends fellowships by invitation only and after careful investigation, to those experienced trial lawyers who have mastered the art of advocacy and whose professional careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, civility and collegiality. In order to qualify for the honor, lawyers must have a minimum of 15 years of trial experience.

Mr. Schoeman joins Barry H. Berke and Gary P. Naftalis, partners and co-chairs of the firm’s Litigation Department, and Harold P. Weinberger, partner and head of the firm’s Advertising Group, as part of a select group of litigators in one of the nation’s premier legal associations.

Mr. Schoeman focuses his practice in the areas of white collar criminal defense and complex civil litigation, representing clients in a variety of major criminal, civil and regulatory cases and investigations.  He has been recognized by Best Lawyers, Chambers USA, New York Super Lawyers and Legal 500 US as a leading lawyer. Prior to joining Kramer Levin, he served as Chief Assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York.
