Hubert de Vauplane wrote an article that appeared in the June 2015 issue of the French publication Revue Banque. The article discusses the Capital Markets Union - An unfinished ambition. The Capital Markets Union was presented as the complement to the single market of goods and services, to facilitate corporate financing. A vision is lacking to this aim strictly economically-centred to revitalize the European project: a political and cultural dimension. Indeed, the EU must be reduced to a common market, as wide it may be.
