Legal Services NYC Recognizes Kramer Levin as "Pro Bono Visionary"

Legal Services NYC honored Kramer Levin as one of its "Pro Bono Visionaries" for 2009 for its decade-long commitment to staffing a full-time Housing Court externship at South Brooklyn Legal Services. Legal Services NYC, the umbrella organization for Legal Services offices in New York and the largest provider of free civil legal services to low-income people in the United States, also presented individual pro bono recognition awards to several former South Brooklyn externs: associates Kathleen F. Pirozzolo, Jill N. Filipovic, and Nakeeb Siddique and former associate Matthew Keller. The firm's award was accepted by Pro Bono Chair Jeffrey S. Trachtman.
