The NII Holdings Chapter 11 bankruptcy was named to a list of ten “successful restructurings” in 2015, by Turnarounds and Workouts. Kramer Levin represented the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors in the NII Holdings case, which was one of the largest Chapter 11 cases filed in 2014. The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York confirmed the Joint Chapter 11 Plan of Reorganization on June 18, 2015, and the debtors emerged from bankruptcy on June 26, 2015.
