Real Estate partner Jay A. Neveloff was quoted in an article appearing in The Commercial Observer about the challenges Chinese investors sometimes face when looking to enter the U.S. real estate market, and vice versa. The article cites differences in industry standards, as well as language barriers and cultural differences as some of the challenges U.S. and Chinese investors face when brokering real estate deals in each other’s markets. Mr. Neveloff was quoted as saying that, having both represented and sold assets to Chinese investors, any cultural challenges one might encounter in a cross border deal can be said of working with any foreign investor, and is not unique to the Chinese.
