Prism’s $30M Infringement Victory over Sprint Stands as Federal Circuit Declines En Banc Review
On May 8, 2017, the full U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit declined an en banc review of a three-judge panel’s March decision affirming Kramer Levin client Prism Technologies’ $30 million patent infringement win over Sprint Spectrum. The decision leaves standing the damages award and infringement verdict, the result of a June 2015 jury trial. The Kramer Levin team in the Sprint case was composed of Intellectual Property partners Paul J. Andre, Jonathan S. Caplan, Lisa Kobialka and Mark A. Baghdassarian, special counsel Aaron Frankel and associates Marcus A. Colucci, Cristina Martinez, Matthew W. Olinzock and Jane Gross.
