Tribune Banks Pick Kramer Levin As Counsel
Bank Lenders holding more than $3 billion in claims, voted to retain Kramer Levin as their counsel in the Chapter 11 reorganization of Tribune Company. Tribune owns The Chicago Tribune, The Los Angeles Times, numerous other media properties including TV and radio stations, and the Chicago Cubs.
The Kramer Levin team consists of Corporate Restructuring and Bankruptcy partners Kenneth H. Eckstein, Thomas Moers Mayer and Philip Bentley, and associates Daniel M. Eggermann and David E. Blabey, Jr.; Tax partner Barry Herzog; Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation partner Christine Lutgens; Corporate associate Kevin Zadourian; and Litigation special counsel Yehudis Lewis.
