On May 6, 2014, land use partner Elise Wagner moderated a panel discussion entitled “WX Perspectives: Update from the de Blasio Administration,” hosted by WX New York Women Executives in Real Estate. The panel focused on the DeBlasio Administration’s Housing New York Plan - an interagency initiative expected to create or preserve 200,000 units of affordable housing over the next 10 years. The panel, which featured key members of the Administration’s Housing team, including the Commissioner of the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development, the Chair of the New York City Housing Authority, and the General Counsel of the New York City Department of Planning, discussed the components of the Housing New York Plan, goals for implementation, and the positive impact it is expected to have on the future of New York City.
