Pro Bono Report: Legal Services for Nonprofit Organizations
In several areas, including corporate, tax, real estate, and intellectual property, Kramer Levin has provided pro bono assistance to a wide variety of nonprofit secular and religious organizations. Many of these activities arise out of ongoing representations or board service, and many reflect the community or religious interests of individual lawyers. Others are referred through such groups as the Lawyers Alliance for New York, which specializes in providing non-litigation legal assistance to the New York nonprofit community, New York Lawyers for the Public Interest, Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, and the Legal Aid Society.
