Albert Fredericks

Mr. Fredericks' practice focuses primarily on land use issues impacting real estate development projects throughout New York City.  His practice covers various tax incentive programs for real estate development, including 421-a tax exemptions for residential development and ICIP benefits for commercial development.

Mr. Fredericks represents clients before the New York City Planning Commission, the Board of Standards and Appeals, the Department of Housing Preservation and Development, the Buildings Department and the Landmarks Preservation Commission. His clients include both private real estate developers and non-profit educational, health care and cultural institutions.

Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Fredericks was Deputy Chief of the Administrative Law Division for the New York City Law Department. In that capacity, he represented many of the City's administrative agencies, including its land use agencies, in litigation in state and federal courts.
