Corporate Restructuring and Bankruptcy partner Amy Caton was named one of Law360’s ten Bankruptcy MVPs for 2015. Ms. Caton was recognized for her work as a national leader in the restructuring and bankruptcy space, which includes acting as lead counsel for the bondholder groups in some of the most prominent municipal restructurings in history. Over the past year, these included Ms. Caton's work in the restructuring of approximately $8 billion of debt of the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority and a seminal lawsuit that produced a ruling declaring Puerto Rico’s new insolvency law unconstitutional, as well as representing some of the largest bondholders in the city of Detroit's bankruptcy, the largest chapter 9 case in history, and representing bondholders in The Revel Atlantic City's Chapter 11 case.
