Mr. Huo’s practice covers a variety of areas including intellectual property, corporate and cross-border transactions.
Mr. Huo’s intellectual property practice focuses on providing strategic intellectual property counseling, patent procurement and enforcement, including intellectual property litigation.
He also practices corporate and securities law, concentrating on corporate finance, merger and acquisition transactions and general corporate advice. He assists various Chinese clients with initial public offerings and raising capital in the U.S. markets. In addition, Mr. Huo counsels U.S. companies transacting business in and related to China.
Previously, Mr. Huo practiced law in China for four years as the general counsel for a leading Chinese company. During that time, he handled numerous commercial litigations and obtained favorable outcomes in several high profile cases involving futures trading, bank loan guarantees and international trade. His corporate law experience in China includes investments, mergers and acquisitions and initial public offering transactions.
