Mr. Huo’s practice covers a variety of areas including corporate, cross-border transactions and intellectual property.
Mr. Huo’s corporate and securities law practices concentrate on corporate finance, merger and acquisition transactions and general corporate advice. For example, Mr. Huo is assisting Chinese clients with their initial public offering, reverse merger and PIPE transactions. In addition, Mr. Huo counsels U.S. companies transacting business in and related to China.
Mr. Huo also practices intellectual property law with focus on providing strategic intellectual property counseling, patent procurement and enforcement, including intellectual property litigation.
Previously, Mr. Huo practiced law in China for four years as the general counsel for a leading Chinese company. During that time, he handled numerous commercial litigations and obtained favorable outcomes in several high profile cases involving futures trading, bank loan guarantee and international trade. His corporate law experience in China includes investment, M&A and IPO transactions.
