Electronic Discovery Update: Spring 2013
Complex cross-border transactions make up a significant part of our M&A and securities practices. These include transactions inbound to the U.S. or to Europe, as well as ones involving targets on other continents.
We bring to these transactions deep experience in deal structuring, identifying and negotiating key deal points, and efficiently managing the process in a way designed to meet our clients’ priorities.
Our teams handling cross-border deals include the attorneys in our New York and Paris offices and, when appropriate, high-caliber local counsel from our network of contacts in relevant foreign jurisdictions.
We also represent U.S.-listed foreign private issuers in a variety of private and public securities transactions, including initial public offerings, follow-on public offerings, public and private offerings of debt securities, and related regulatory issues.
In these various transactions we advise the corporate parties and their management, investors and bankers in deals involving businesses of various sizes, from start-ups to multinationals. The transactions are often complex and take place in a variety of business sectors (traditional industry, new technology, financial services, transportation, real estate and others.
Our cross border practice also includes cross-border joint ventures and licensing and development agreements.
