Mr. Cho's practice focuses primarily on complex commercial litigation, SEC regulatory practice, employment and white-collar defense. Mr. Cho also has experience representing creditors committees in complex Chapter 11 proceedings.
Mr. Cho co-authored several articles on foreign-cubed securities litigation and co-presented a Continuing Legal Education program on securities arbitration.
Mr. Cho is also committed to pro bono work. His pro bono representations include asylum matters with Immigration Equality and Song Tsen, for which he obtained asylum for several individuals who were victims of persecution in their home countries due to their political beliefs and/or sexual orientation. In 2011, Mr. Cho was recognized by Immigration Equality for excellence in pro bono representation. Also on a pro bono basis, Mr. Cho served multiple terms as Special Assistant Corporation Counsel with the New York City Law Department.
Mr. Cho currently serves as a member of the firm's Diversity Committee and leads the Affinity Group for Attorneys of Color.
Mr. Cho is Vice-President of the Korean American Lawyers Association of Greater New York and serves as co-chair of its student mentorship program.
Mr. Cho was recently selected to serve on the Advisory Board of the Fordham Law School Minority Mentorship Program.
