• Borna Khoshand works on real estate matters, assisting in the representation of clients in real estate transactions, including purchases and sales, joint ventures, commercial leases and debt financings on behalf of both lenders and borrowers. Borna’s work involves drafting and reviewing transactional documents, conducting due diligence, and coordinating closing and post-closing activities.

    Some of Borna’s most recent work includes assisting, as a member of the transaction teams, in a portfolio acquisition and related financing for one of the largest global real estate investment managers; in the acquisition by a financial institution of a development site in northern Manhattan and the concurrent sale of a larger assemblage created in combination with the development site; in the representation of a developer in the financing for and acquisition of a redevelopment property in Greenwich Village; in the acquisition by a film company of a value-add performance space in Greenwich Village; and in the representation of a private equity investor in a number of joint venture development deals across the country. He has also assisted with office leases, subleases and licenses on behalf of the owners and tenants of commercial office buildings in Manhattan.

    Borna also dedicates time to pro bono services, including assisting a nonprofit in leasing office space in Brooklyn and an advocacy group for the homeless in negotiating an access agreement with a neighboring property owner.
