• Brian E. Hilburn works on bankruptcy and restructuring matters.

    Prior to joining Kramer Levin, Brian clerked with the Honorable Sean H. Lane of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, and the Honorable Paul E. Davison, then-chief U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Southern District of New York. Brian previously worked for more than six years with New York Legal Assistance Group, first as a staff attorney and later as a senior staff attorney in the LegalHealth Division, running on-site legal clinics at a number of New York City–area hospitals that provide legal services for indigent hospital patients with serious health problems. He also served in a postgraduate fellowship with South Brooklyn Legal Services after law school.

    Brian served in the Peace Corps as a rural health and sanitation volunteer in San José de Los Arroyos, Paraguay.
