• Christopher Henry represents both capital providers and borrowers in the origination, negotiation and closing of complex domestic and international financing transactions, including a variety of traditional and alternative financing arrangements. Chris advises financial institutions and private equity funds as well as lenders, administrative agents, collateral agents and arrangers, and counsels borrowers and issuers in leveraged and syndicated financing transactions across a variety of industries, including manufacturing, health care, energy and hospitality.

    Prior to joining Kramer Levin, Chris worked in the debt finance practices of several global law firms.

    Experience

    • Represented funds managed by a global alternative investment management firm in providing $400 million in term loan and delayed draw term loan financing to the nation’s largest retailer of powersports vehicles in connection with the acquisition of a national dealership portfolio.

    • Represented a provider of communications products and services for the deaf and hard of hearing in connection with the refinancing of its existing first lien term loan facility with a new $600 million first lien term loan facility maturing in March 2026, and the related amendments to the company’s second lien term loan facility.

    • Represented funds managed by a major alternative investment management firm in providing a $225 million term loan (and a commitment to provide an additional $50 million in delayed draw term loans) to a global imaging technology company

    • Represented a family office in obtaining new term loan and asset-based revolving credit facilities to support its acquisition of a prominent Chicago-based chain of deep-dish pizza restaurants.

    • Represented a major international bank, as collateral agent, joint lead arranger and a lender, along with its affiliate, as administrative agent, structuring agent and joint lead arranger, in an $850 million syndicated satellite procurement financing facility through which a large commercial satellite operator agreed to acquire communications satellites from a multinational aerospace company.
