• Henry Gao works on banking and finance matters. Henry works on all types of financing transactions includes leveraged financings, debt financings and refinancings on behalf of banks, institutional lenders, private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies. He also works on matters relating to companies in distressed situations.

    Henry is committed to pro bono work, recently representing a domestic violence victim in obtaining an order of protection from New York family court. He also works with a not-for-profit business owner on corporate and intellectual property matters.

    Prior to joining Kramer Levin, Henry was a litigation associate in the New York office of an international firm, where he advised domestic and international clients on cross-border litigation and arbitration proceedings. While pursuing his legal studies, Henry interned with the Hon. Robert McBurney of the Superior Court of Fulton County, Atlanta, and in the corporate department of the Shanghai office of a global law firm.
