• Luis Encinas works on corporate matters. Luis returns to Kramer Levin after participating in the firm’s summer associate program, where he assisted in the drafting of transactional and ancillary documents related to mergers and acquisitions, as well as conducted research and served as a translator in multiple pro bono immigration matters.

    During law school, Luis worked as a student attorney at Morningside Heights Legal Services in New York City, where he represented a client throughout the affirmative asylum process as part of Columbia Law’s Immigrants’ Rights Clinic, and as a research assistant at the Columbia Law School Center for Korean Legal Studies, where his focus was on International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea matters. Prior to attending law school, Luis worked as a lobbying intern for a Hartford-based governmental affairs and consulting firm.
