• Melissa B. Thompson prepares and prosecutes U.S. and foreign patent applications, in particular those involving electrical, computer and mechanical technologies. Melissa conducts patent validity investigations and prior art searches, and prepares infringement analyses and opinions. She also assists in the representation of clients in patent litigation and post-grant review before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.

    Prior to law school, Melissa worked as a patent examiner for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
