On November 26, 2012, Kramer Levin client Bouygues Telecom announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement with Antin Infrastructure Partners for the sale and management of 2166 pylons in France for a total consideration of €205M. 1873 pylons were sold on November 26, and the remaining pylons will be sold during the second quarter of 2013. Bouygues Telecom will hold a participation of 15% into the capital of France Pylônes Services (FPS), company created on purpose to hold and operate the pylons. With pylons all over France, FPS will provide hosting services to Bouygues Telecom and other operators. In connection with the transaction, Bouygues Telecom and FPS signed a long-term hosting and service agreement. Due to its 15% shareholding in FPS, Bouygues Telecom’s net income generated by this transaction amounts to €185M.
