Kramer Levin successfully represented its client, TydenBrooks, in its longstanding lawsuit against Cambridge Security Seals. On May 4, 2015, a jury in the Southern District of New York found that Cambridge misappropriated Tyden’s trade secrets relating to Tyden’s manufacturing processes for plastic indicative security seals. The jury also decided that Cambridge engaged in unfair competition and was unjustly enriched by its actions. The jury awarded millions of dollars to Tyden. In addition, at the conclusion of Tyden’s direct case, Judge Preska granted judgment in Tyden’s favor on CSS’s antitrust and other counterclaims.

Tyden, which filed the lawsuit in 2012, had alleged, among other things, that Cambridge hired Tyden employees and then misappropriated Tyden’s trade secrets relating to its manufacturing processes for plastic seals. The Kramer Levin team consisted of Daniel B. Goldman, Kerri Ann Law, Dani R. James, Jade A. Burns, Claudia Pak, Sam M. Koch and Lynda Tricarico, as well as paralegals Rachel Goot, Denise Reid, Kimesha Scarborough and Alison Sikes.
