Permanent Injunction Granted Against Genesis II Church for Marketing False COVID-19 Cures
The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida granted the government’s motion for default judgement and a permanent injunction against the Genesis II Church of Health and Healing and associated defendants Jonathan and Jordan Grenon, for marketing its Miracle Mineral Solution (“MMS”) as a cure for COVID-19 and other serious diseases. The order permanently prohibits the defendants from selling or distributing unapproved or misbranded products, including MMS. The FDA has previously urged consumers not to purchase or use MMS, which is actually an industrial bleach, because it can cause dangerous, life-threatening side effects.
