Associate
Jeremy A. Cohen is an associate in Kramer Levin's litigation department. His practice encompasses all aspects of business litigation on behalf of partnerships, corporations and individuals, with a particular focus on real estate, Lanham Act (advertising and trademark) and securities/broker-dealer litigation and arbitration.
Mr. Cohen's real estate practice includes representation of some of New York's leading property owners and developers in state and federal litigation involving condominiums, mixed residential and commercial developments and marinas.
His Lanham Act practice includes representation of pharmaceutical, consumer products and apparel corporations in false advertising and trademark actions in the federal courts of New York, Delaware and Puerto Rico.
Mr. Cohen also represents high-profile individuals and entities in the sports and entertainment field, including musicians, athletes and teams in a wide range of litigation and arbitration.
He has arbitrated securities, broker-dealer and other commercial disputes before the New York Stock Exchange, NASD and American Arbitration Association.
In 2008, Mr. Cohen was appointed to the Judicial Screening Panel for the First District, which considered applicants for the New York County Civil Court.
He is a member of the Advisory Board of Legal Outreach, Inc., a non-profit organization that prepares youth from underserved communities in New York City to compete at high academic levels by using intense legal and educational programs as tools for facilitating the pursuit of higher education.
