Jeffrey Dunlap is a litigator who focuses on complex civil litigation, including corporate and real estate disputes, and white collar criminal and regulatory defense. Mr. Dunlap assists in the defense of individuals and corporations in regulatory inquiries and criminal investigations, as well as in all phases of litigation.

Mr. Dunlap has participated on several trial teams, working on all aspects of trial preparation. He was a member of the trial team that successfully represented the co-founder and owner of a large, privately held corporation in an expedited trial in Delaware Chancery Court seeking dissolution of the company due to corporate deadlock. He also assisted in a high-profile insider trading criminal trial in the Southern District of New York. Most recently, he successfully represented a lender in a bankruptcy trial in connection with the construction of a supertall tower in Midtown Manhattan, and separately won a $24 million judgment against the developers of the tower. Mr. Dunlap has also assisted in the successful representation of elected officials and public entities in investigative matters, including Mayor Bill de Blasio and the City of Syracuse, New York.

Mr. Dunlap dedicates significant time to pro bono matters, including criminal appeals in conjunction with the Legal Aid Society. He also serves as co-director of Kramer Levin’s partnership with P.S. 188, a public elementary school in the Lower East Side, to provide legal services to the families of students who cannot otherwise afford to retain a lawyer.

Thomson Reuters’ New York Super Lawyers recognized Mr. Dunlap as a Rising Star in 2015 and 2016.
