Mark A. Baghdassarian litigates complex patent and trademark actions in courts across the country. Mr. Baghdassarian represents patent owners seeking to enforce their rights and defends companies against allegations of patent infringement. His recent litigation work includes patent infringement actions in the District of Delaware, Eastern District of Virginia, the Central and Northern Districts of California, Eastern District of Texas and the District of Nebraska, and across a broad spectrum of technologies, including satellite radio devices and service, connected vehicle technology, in-vehicle navigation systems, digital imaging technology, devices used in the semiconductor industry, medical devices and pharmaceuticals.

Among his most notable recent litigation work, Mr. Baghdassarian has been leading the defense of companies, including Sirius XM, AVG Technologies and David + Henderson, against patent infringement lawsuits brought by various nonpracticing entities. He also represents Prism Technologies in patent infringement actions against major telecommunication companies involving access control for wireless networks, and recently obtained a favorable settlement following a seven-day trial that resulted in a jury verdict in favor of Prism.

In addition to litigation, Mr. Baghdassarian advises clients, including a number of startup technology companies, on intellectual property licensing and transactional matters and in patent procurement, patent portfolio evaluation and general intellectual property acquisition and management projects.
