Ms. Blades' practice involves advising businesses and individuals on a wide range of federal, state, and local income tax matters, including tax planning for mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, corporate restructurings, bankruptcy reorganizations, and real estate transactions. Ms. Blades also has experience advising individuals and multistate businesses on state and local sales and use tax matters. In addition, Ms. Blades advises nonprofit organizations on tax matters.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Ms. Blades was an electronics repair technician, serving in the United States Navy on board the USS John F. Kennedy.
