As reported in the March 21, 2001 New York Law Journal, private school Lycee Francais de New York has purchased property to build a state-of-the-art primary and secondary school facility. The property, which is considered to be the largest development site available in a low-density zone on the Upper East Side, was the site of a parking garage which is now being demolished. The facility to be built by the Lycee will eventually consolidate and replace it six Upper East Side school buildings which will be going on the market as part of the deal. The Lycee was represented by Kramer Levin partner Jay Neveloff, special counsel James Godman, and associate Jonathan Cohen.
