Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP is pleased to announce that David Blondel, who has 15 years experience in real estate financing and investment, has joined the firm’s Paris office as Counsel.  Mr. Blondel will continue to build upon his practice with a French and foreign clientele of real estate operators, financial institutions and investment funds.

Prior to joining Kramer Levin, Mr. Blondel, 38, spent his career in the legal department of Natexis Banques Populaires where he acted as the Legal Director of the real estate department since 2000.

Mr. Blondel received a “DESS” in International Business Law from Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne in 1991 and a LLM in Private Law from the University of Rouen in 1990.  He was also an adjunct professor for an International Business Law class at the European Business School from 1999 to 2005.

Sabine Naugès joins the firm as an Associate to strengthen the Public Law team.  She is a member of both the Paris and New York Bars and holds a Ph. D in Public Law.  She received a LL.M. from American University, Washington College of Law (Washington D.C.) in Law and Government in 2005, as well as a postgraduate diploma in Public law in 1996, and a masters in public law and public administration in 1995 from Panthéon-Sorbonne University.

Prior to joining Kramer Levin, Ms. Naugès was a junior lecturer at the Panthéon-Sorbonne University from 2000 to 2002 and an in-house counsel at France Télécom from 2002 to 2004.

Ms. Naugès will continue her practice in the fields of internal and international public law, French and European competition law, telecommunications law and administrative litigation, together, with among others, Jean-Pierre Mattout, partner in the firm.
