Mr. Tucker has a broad based real estate practice, including finance, sale leasebacks, purchase and sale, restructurings, leases and development. His clients include institutional investors, real estate developers, hedge funds and entrepreneurial investors. Mr. Tucker also regularly represents tenants and landlords in large leases.

Representative Matters

  • Represented lenders and borrowers in loan restructures, workouts, foreclosures and bankruptcies, including developers of office and condominium projects, developer of large multi-use complex, developer of paper mills, mortgage and mezzanine lender in a multi-state multi-property foreclosure/bankruptcy, and mezzanine lender in a large office portfolio restructuring and mortgage lenders in New York foreclosure
  • Represented numerous borrowers in connection with the financing of office buildings, suburban office parks, hotels, retail centers, industrial facilities, power plants and paper mills, including through structured finance transactions, rule 144A debt offerings and project finance loans
  • Represented numerous buyers and sellers of mortgage and mezzanine loans
  • Represented buyers, sellers and managing members in acquisitions and dispositions of office buildings, industrial facilities, hotels and mixed use projects in New York and nationwide
  • Represented lenders in construction and permanent loans secured by office buildings, shopping centers (including regional malls), industrial facilities, residential tracts, and hotels
  • Represented institutional and individual buyers/lessors and sellers/lessees (including a major insurance company) in sale leaseback transactions totaling in excess of $2.0 billion
  • Represented tenants (including banking, advertising, high tech and manufacturing companies) in New York and nationally in office, industrial and retail lease transactions including numerous multifloor transactions in first class office buildings
  • Represented landlord of first class office building in preparation of lease form, and lease negotiations
  • Represented two hedge funds in development of 7,000 acre residential tract
  • Represented owners in development of office and mixed use projects
